TH Sonata

Tsuneishi Holdings Corporation completed the 107,500DWT compared as ships from type Aframax size crude oil tanker, TH SONATAon Oct. 2, 2008. The vessel complies with the new regulation of IACS Joint Tanker Project Common Structural Rules for Double Hull Oil Tankers (except performance standard for protective coatings for ballast tanks). The cargo handling system has three segregation groups with double valves. Cargo oil is handled by three steam turbine- drive cargo oil pumps having a capacity of 3,000m3/h ith a selfstripping device. The vessel is equipped with a newly developed energy saving device, MT-FAST.
